The European Conference ‘ECVET - Practical Approaches and Experiences' took place in the Wiener Konferenzzentrum Am Spiegeln on 7th February 2008.
 

Eighty seven professional experts from fourteen European countries discussed the actual developments and further perspectives of ECVET processes with Michel Aribaud from the European Commission and other representatives from European and national organisations in plenum and four working groups.

The conference, which was organised by Institut für berufliche Bildung und EDV-Schulung, Lauchhammer Dr. Lothar Muschter, was intended for experts, policy makers and others who work in the field of vocational training, for ECVET monitoring groups of the EU, for representative bodies in the context of the EQF and current trends in Europe concerning the ECVET process, and for European companies.
